Based on the story by Wyomme Pariss, and screenplay adaptation of the stage play Then Sings My Soul, the film tells the story of seven women on a journey of survival as their lives collide in ways they never expected, giving them new life as they rejoice in victory.

With powerful stories and music that touches the heart, Then Sings My Soul will move audiences to action and be the spark to ignite a movement with the mission of restoring hope and ending domestic violence in all of its forms.
