Wyomme Pariss - Executive Producer

 

Wyomme Pariss is proud of the Vision God has given her as Creator of the upcoming Stage Production “Then Sings My Soul” A Musical Presentation that deals with Domestic Violence among Women and Men.  She is humble, but yet has a strong voice in helping to bring awareness in the community through this Powerful Musical.  Women are not put on this Earth to be humiliated, beaten, bruised and battered, but to be loved and treated like Queens! 

 

Wyomme is truly grateful for her many God-given Gifts. She has worked closely with clients in the positions of PR Manager, Marketing and Advertising.  This gave her the opportunity to help many clients promote and market their business in the areas of Radio, TV and coordinating Community Events.  She has over 20 years of experience working in sales, marketing, promotions, radio and advertising. 

 

As a Consultant she has helped Clients in writing commercials for Radio and TV Ads, she has worked with several Radio Stations such as Radio One Station WYCB 1340AM and  WWGB 1030AM - TV Stations: Channel 5, Channel 9, Channel 20, Channel 50 and Telemundo.

 

Wyomme  has also worked as an Event Coordinator for Special Community Events i.e. Union Temple Baptist Church Annual “UNIFEST”; Project Coordinator for UTBC 200 Voice Youth Choirs Debut Album “God Reigns”; Residental Home Loans Annual outdoor Community Event “The Power of  One”.

Paul Anthony - Executive Vice President

 

Paul Anthony is one of the members of the Grammy Award Certified Production Team and Music group FULL FORCE. He has received many Gold, Platinum and Diamond record plaques, BMI Awards and More, resulting from working with artists such as James Brown, Rihanna, Patti Labelle, Nicky Minaj, The Black Eyed Peas, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Justin Timberlake, N*Sync, Bob Dylan, UTFO, Britney Spears, Lil Kim, Method Man, Faith Evans, Cheryl Pepsii Riley, Fergie, Raphael Saadiq, Selena and many more.  P.A. has Starred in the ground breaking urban classic films “House Party” and “House Party 2” both of which also starred his Brothers Bowlegged Lou & B-Fine, Kid N Play, Martin Lawrence and Tisha Campbell Martin.

 

Paul Anthony is a Cancer Champion of Mantle Cell Lymphoma, MDS and Acute Myeloid Leukemia as documented in Full Force’s record breaking episode of TV-One’s “UnSung” and "Unsung Revisited 2015". His successful Bone Marrow Transplant courtesy of his Brother Lou being a 10/10 donor match was the primary motivation that prompted him to start The Paul Anthony Foundation, so that he could help empower and educate people as to the importance blood cancer treatments, early testing, Bone Marrow donating, the Mind, Body & Spirit Connection and the research that needs to be done in order to cure the disease.

 

Paul Anthony is and has been an exercise, fitness and health expert, training and exercising for health, appearance and spiritual balance throughout his life and career. Daniel Spruill - Music Director

 

Dr. Daniel D. Spruill is a gifted and accomplished composer, producer, performer, educator, award-winning and highly sought musical director, music workshop facilitator, and musician. His travels has taken him to Europe where he has performed for the Chatalet Musical Theatre in Paris, France, the Cambridge Theatre, London, the International Convention Centre Symphony Hall, Birmingham, U.K. Dr. Spruill is a member of the Washington Area Musicians Association (W.A.M.A), the Washington Areas local musicians union, and a member of BMI.

 

Dr. Spruill’s musical professional work spans over 25 years with musical credits and awards too numerous to list. He has worked with local and national organizations to perform as a musician, composer, conductor, and musical director. His most distinguish honor is creating the words and music for the national “AID FOR AFRICA” Song commissioned by Beldina Auma, South Africa’s National representative, in conjunction with the United Nations and HBO to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of A.I.D.S. in Africa

 

Alongside his musical accomplishments, Dr. Daniel Spruill is a noted author of several books and holds six degrees in various disciplines. He is also a music educator for a DCPCS and proprietor of Dasu Productions.

 

Debra  Wilson - Assistant Director

 

Debra Wilson is a native Washingtonian with over 30 years experience in the arts as an actress, playwright and director. She is the founder and former Artistic Director of Atiya Performing Arts Center, located in Suitland,Md until 1998. She spent her time and skills exploring new opportunities for bringing all forms of the performing arts to children and adults in the Washington Metro Area. She developed and managed the full performance curriculum, and taught over 500 students. Many of her students excelled and achieved outstanding careers in the arts in various musicals on and off Broadway, in commercials and prime time television. She directed a variety of musicals and stage plays;   "Little Shop of Horrors, Harvest of Love, Wizzin, Heart Beat Rhythm of the Street, Black Seeds in Motion, Too much of a Good Thing, Jazzamina" just to name a few. During her time at the famed Studio Theatre, she was commissioned to develop and coordinate their Youth Theatre Department.  In 1993, Debra was inducted into the Women's Hall of Fame in Prince George's County for her accomplishments in the performing arts arena. Debra has studied at Harvard University, University of Maryland, The Kennedy Center of Performing Arts, Studio Theatre and The Arena Stage.

In addition to her career in the arts, Debra worked for the Federal Government at General Services Administration, in 2012 she retired with 40 years of service.

 

 

 

Lisa Jackson - Stage Manager

 

Lisa Jackson is a native Washingtonian. She now resides in Waldorf, MD and is a devoted mother who attends Word of Life Christian Church. In her professional career she works for a Workforce Development program, Year Up, where the mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education.

 

Lisa also has several years of dance and drama training and teaching through Atiya Performing Arts. With performances to include: Chocolate Rhythms & Rhymes- Suitland High School, The Twilight Zone- Public Playhouse, Before it Hits Home – Prince George’s Community College, Waiting For My Harvest and many more.

 

Lisa has been blessed to direct several plays under Get The Word Out Productions. With stage plays to include: The Stations of the Cross “A News Report”, Finding the Christmas Star, Foxy Momma, Until Death Do Us Part and many others.  Finally, Lisa is currently the Stage Manager for Get Lifted Ensemble, a vibrant arts ministry that believes in the power of worshiping God through a nonverbal, yet very emotional form of communication: dance!
 

One of Lisa’s favorite sayings in life is “Let the work I do speak for me”.

Veronica Spears - Production Advisor

 

Veronica brings over 35 years of experience to “THEN SINGS MY SOUL” production.  Veronica is no stranger to the arts, a vocalist from a very young age.  She has sung with some of top artist throughout the United States.  Veronica also sang on two popular CD release, one nominated for a Stella Award “Come Bless His Name” with Professor Wilbur Belton.  Professor Belton is the uncle to Tye Tribbett

 

Veronica served 25 years as Director of Public Relations in her church of over 6,000 members. This postion provided her the opportunity to organize large concerts as a fundraiser for various community church projects, futuring artist such as Donnie McCurklin, Ce Ce Winans, The Hawkins Tour, Vicki Winans just to name a few.

 

Veronica's expert range of administrative and artist skills for large events and productions, and her percise and detail experience in all her projects have elevated her to be in great demand in today’s marketing and entertainment arenas. She is known for her unique flare for style and design in all her presentations and projects.
