Domestic Abuse Survivor

Dear Potential Sponsor:

If you were not aware of these grim facts, you are not alone. On the issue of domestic violence, sadly, silence continues to be pervasive and even deadly. Together, we can break the silence and make a profound difference in the lives of victims, their families and our entire community. We invite you to join us, as a corporate sponsor, in raising the level of awareness, resources, and community commitment to end the scourge of domestic violence.

THIS IS A MOVEMENT- dynamic artists from across the metropolitan area will unite for a one-of-a-kind performance tribute to survivors of domestic abuse, and to provide a beacon of hope to women that may be currently experiencing abuse.  The name of the production - Then Sings My Soul - amplifies the mission to give voice and visibility to battered women and girls, their families and supporters in the metropolitan DC area and all across the nation to speak out against domestic violence. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit local non-profit organizations that provide direct services to battered women and children.

We need your help to ensure that the light created by this performance sits high upon a hill and broadcasts the radiant light of hope, support, and compassion for women caught in the cycle of domestic violence. As a sponsor your organization will receive advertising in Productions Playbill etc. (see sponsorship package). Most importantly, you will help to launch a movement that will uplift the lives of women, men and their children. After you review the current sponsorship opportunities (Brooklyn,NY, May 5th & 6th 2018) - it is our hope you say, YES. We will be delighted to respond to any questions you may have and to work with you to ensure that your company receives the maximum benefit of sponsorship, which is made tax-deductible through our partnership with an area non-profit organization(s). (Sisters4SistersNetwork, Inc. EIN#90-0532596)

Together, with your support, we can make this event a powerful catalyst for change. We can end the silence and bring light where there is darkness, hope where there is despair. Please join us. We thank you for your favorable consideration of our request and look forward to the success it will ensure.

Did you know that every nine seconds a woman is assaulted or beaten somewhere in America? That every day in the U.S. three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends? Approximately 1.3 million women and 835,000 men are physically assaulted by an intimate partner annually in the United States.
